She was predeceased by : her husband James D'Arezzo; her parents, William Hamel and Yvonne Hamel (Turcotte); and her brothers, Leo, William, Norman and Donald Hamel.

She is survived by : her daughter Laura Lee Lawing (Bruce); her brother Gerard "Gus" Hamel (Liz); her grandchildren, Kelly Trammell (John) and Michael Lawing (Caitlyn); and her great grandchildren, Madison, Morgan and Grayson Lawing.
