Patricia Cottrell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Cottrell (South Kingstown, Rhode Island), who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Patricia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patricia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Fish and Edith Fish (Harrop); and her husband John J. Cottrell III. She is survived by: her daughter Roxanne Nelson; and her siblings, Pete Fish (Paula) and Peggy Fish. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Fernwood Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Richmond Grange (690 Usquepaugh Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892).
