He was predeceased by: his wife Lillian Doherty (Jacobsen); and his parents, Francis "Frank" and Phyllis Doherty (Strzelecki). He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Mack and Eileen Doherty; his stepdaughter Renee Kroll; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Thomas Sweeny (TJ), Jillian Doherty, Lindsay Dragoo, Vicki Olivo, Dion Hinnant, Rhonda Bayes and Stephen Kroll; and his siblings, Phyllis Skupeen Farmer, Edward "Buddy" Skupeen and Charles Skupeen. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
