Frances Scambio Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Scambio (Warwick, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Frances had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Frances may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Luther and Frances Winn (Courtney); her husband Joseph Scambio; and her daughter Kimberly Gremour. She is survived by: her children, Stephen McElroy (Joan), Christine Choiniere (Thomas), John McElroy, Janet, Timothy McElroy and Michele Tucci (John). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Church (350 Fair St, Warwick, RI 02888).
