She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Shelton and Evelyn Shelton (Allen); her son Peter A. Contardo; and her siblings, Robert Shelton, Carolyn Martin and Jean Flanders.

She is survived by : her husband Peter A. Contardo, Jr.; her child Besides; her grandchildren, Noah, Mason Contardo, Ariana St. Lawrence, Sofia, Paul Mangino, Ethan and Hannah Contardo; and her siblings, Russell Shelton and Chloe Bickford.
