It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Hawkins (Westerly, Rhode Island), born in Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband John Hawkins; her parents, George H. Bowen and Hazel Bowen (Donaghey); and her siblings, Edward H. Bowen and Ruth Fredette.

She is survived by : her children, John F. Hawkins and Joyce Prew-Trivett; and her grandchildren, Craig, Wayne, Bruce, Dawn and Michelle. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, seven great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
