He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sullivan and Marie Sullivan; and his brother Robert Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his brother John; his children, Colleen (Jack Cannon) of Mystic, CT, Maureen Donaghey (Sean) of North Kingstown, James P. Sullivan, Jr. (Caroline) of Summit, NJ and Sean Sullivan (Sheila) of Fairfield, CT.; and his grandchildren, Maggie, Timothy, Rowan, Colin, Peter, Michael, Anna Sullivan, Mary Kate, Brendan Donaghey and Kathleen Cannon.
