He was predeceased by : his parents, Ulric Casavant and Rita Casavant (Archambault). He is survived by : his wife Darlene R. Casavant (Chamberland); his sons, Sean Casavant (Megan) of Grantham, NH and Hayden Casavant of Harrisville; his grandchildren, Cameron and Benjamin; and his siblings, Albert, Claire, Paulette and Jeanne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052.
