He is survived by : his children, Marc Desmarais of Woonsocket, Lori Richard (Joseph) of Johnston and Amanda Ellis (Christopher) of Graham, NC; his siblings, Rene Cushen of Rancho Mirage, CA, Robert Desmarais of Milford, Lorraine Ndiaye of Woonsocket, Claire Allard of Woonsocket, Irene Carter of North Smithfield, Annette Gouin of Woonsocket, Rachel Bergeron of Manville and Tina Deroy of Harrisville; his grandchildren, Tiffany Belanger and Christopher Ellis, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Gerard and Justin Belanger; and his close friend Donald Skrat of Woonsocket.
