She was predeceased by : her husband Richard B. Ryan; her parents, John Shunney and Anna Shunney (Teahan); and her brother Edward. She is survived by : her sibling River; her children, Richard "Dick" Ryan (Jean) of Woonsocket and Mary Jane "MJ" Ryan (Roz Zevola) of Norton, MA; her granddaughter Kelly Ryan (Ted Wiens); and her siblings, John, Thomas, James and Doris Shunney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
