He was predeceased by : his parents, James Emidy, Jr. and Jacqueline Emidy (Gelinas); and his brother John Emidy. He is survived by : his daughters, Lisa Gauthier of North Smithfield and Erin Nasif of Wasilla, AK; his close friend Diane Wheatley; and his siblings, Ted Emidy of Palm Bay, FL, James Emidy, III of Wakefield, RI, Dennis Emidy of Winthrop, MA, Joe Emidy of Blackstone, Michelle Defond of Bellingham and Denise O'Donnell of Blackstone. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great grandson.
