She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph I. Hershberger and Sadie Wengerd Hershberger; her son Joseph Daniel Gingerich; and her siblings, John L. Hershberger and Elma H. Swartzentruber.

She is survived by : her husband Pete Gingerich; her children, Mike Gingerich (Kathy), Gary Gingerich (Lisa) of Abbeville, Regina Gingerich (Paul) of Hartwell, GA and Rhonda G. Winger of Abbeville; her sister Betty Mast (Walter) of Montana; and her sister-in-law Ruth Hershberger of Jessup, GA. She is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lighthouse Ministries of Abbeville (257 Carwellyn Rd, Abbeville, SC 29620). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
