She was predeceased by: her husband James Oliver Hawkins; and her parents, Wilbur Gay and Nora Alice Kibler Howell. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Lynne Pou of Aiken; her grandson Zane Pou of Aiken; her brother Wilbur Gay "Bill" Howell, Jr. of Aiken; and her pet Finley.
