He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel LeRoy and Peggy Jeanne Lindsay; his wife Marianne McEvers Lindsay of Aiken, SC; his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law James Rumer of Aiken, SC; his sisters, Lynn (David Ramsey) and Only; his grandson Jeremy Cecil Sellers of Aurora, CO; his nephews, Bryan Ramsey, Chris Ramsey and Sean McEvers; and his great-nephew Cameron McEvers.
Due to COVID19, a private graveside ceremony will be held in the Spring in Southern Illinois.
The family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
