He is survived by: his children, Caryn O'Connell of Norton, MA and Michael W. Irvin; his grandchildren, Katie Schaap of West Olive, MI, Allison Guffey, Emily Lentz, Nichole Bramell, Taylor Irvin, Ben Irvin IV and Letty Irvin; and his great grandchildren, Charles L. O'Connell, Brenna Bramell, Brady Bramell, Elliott Irvin-Garcia and Eden Irvin-Garcia.
