He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie W. Collins and Salley Mae Clark-Collins; his wife Mary R. Collins; and his children, Stacey Ann Collins and James Anthony Rowe.
He is survived by: his children, Harry Patterson of Camden, Angela Rowe of Batesburg-Leesville, Charles Collins, Jr. of Batesburg-Leesville and Geraldine Collins-Leaphart of Aiken; his siblings-in-law, Elease Langford of Batesburg-Leesville, Jennifer Miller of Batesburg-Leesville, Barbara Harp (Grady) of Batesburg-Leesville, Helen Landy of Batesburg-Leesville, Julia Jones of Lexington, Howard Rowe of Monetta and Tyrone Williams of Batesburg-Leesville; and his goddaughter Lawanda Mack. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
