He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Morris Stringer; his parents, Charlie Eugene Stringer, Sr. and Thelma Morris Stringer; and his sister Elizabeth "Eddie" Stringer Newton. He is survived by: his children, Charlie Eugene Stringer, III (Annette Jones Stringer), Chris Randall Stringer (Joan Morrison Stringer) and T'Lene Evelyn Sringer Cook (Bruce Milton Cook). He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the American Cancer Society and to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
