With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Horace Hite Sr. of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Earl Horace Hite Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Yancy L. Hite and Maggie Lee Ripley Hite; his siblings, Theodore "Dosie" Hite, Y. L. Hite and Helen Pearl Cochran; his daughter-in-law Wanda Hite; and his grandchildren, Mary Hughes and Ty Youngblood.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Horace "Bubba" Hite, Jr. (Michele Fallaw), Sidney Hite Schifferli, Wanda Lista and Roma Adelene Hughes; his sister Lorie Powell Storey; and his sister-in-law Adelene Hite. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to Camp Sertoma 415 Charlie White Tr Pendleton, SC 29670 and to Serenity Village 6 Dunean St Greenville, SC 29611.
