He was predeceased by: his parents, Maebelle Hawkins Counts and Henry Olin Counts, Sr.; his son George Michael Counts; and his brother Henry Olin Counts, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Beatty Counts; his son James Randall Counts (Cherry); his granddaughters, Amy E. Counts, Nicole C. Keeter and Star Counts; and his stepchildren, Cile Cormier (Marshall) and Matt Weaver of San Marcos, TX.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
