He was predeceased by: his spouse Cuba Kersey Rowland; his parents, John Clifton Rowland and Ideen Webb Rowland; and his siblings, Johnnie Rowland, Mary Frances Cartwright, Robert Rowland (Bud), Shelton Rowland, Fred Rowland, Herbert Rowland and Louie Rowland.
He is survived by: his daughter Alacia Miller (Doug); his grandchildren, Colin Ashe (Megan) of Aiken and Mallory Nichols (Grey) of Camp LeJeune, NC; his great grandchildren, Jenah Ashe and Weston Ashe; and his siblings, Genell Rowland Mathis of Columbus, GA, Sara Rowland Watkins (Lewis) of Appling, GA and Willis Rowland of Miller, GA..
