It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Balinski of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Varela and Mercedes Varela; and her sister Mercedes. She is survived by: her nephew Ronald (Linda Lunn) of Lititz, PA.; and her great-nephew Nicholas Lunn of Jersey City, N. J.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
