He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard A. Yaun, Sr. and Sallie Mae Seago Yaun; his former wife Kay Kennedy Yaun; his son Leonard Kennedy "Ken" Yaun; and his sister Jewell Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Graham Yaun; his children, Julia May (Jeff), Edward Yaun (Rita) of Kissimmee, FL and Greg Yaun; his stepchildren, Ashleigh Morris (David Lawrence) of Albuquerque and Tripp Morris (Heather) of Appling, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher Yaun, Benjamin Yaun and Kaitlin Adams Bolen; his stepgrandchildren, Erin Lawrence of Ryan Lawrence, B. A, Samantha Morris and Haley O'Neal Burton of Jupiter, Florida; his brother Andrew Yaun; and his sibling's children, Julie Couch (Edward), Lloyd Yaun (Mary Pat) and David Turner.
Due to Covid protocols, a private graveside service will be held in Bethany Cemetery.
