He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Smith-Goldwire (Demetris), April Smith (Michela) and Gwendolyn Jefferson; his siblings, Freddy Smith, James Smith, Gerorgia Gary and Shirley Ann Trowell (Charles); and his grandchildren, Rashida Robinson (Dale), Raven Hocutt (Johnathan), Jalen Smith, Shakira Smith, Stephan Smith, Trevor Goldwire, Nickolas Goldwire, Hailee Goldwire, Lauren Goldwire, Marcus Jefferson Jr. (Ayasha), Timothy Jefferson (Michaela) and Markeisha Jefferson. He is also survived by seven great- grandchildren.
