He was predeceased by: his parents, Claffy W. Collins and Lily Marie Wimberly Collins; his sons, Phil Stanley Collins, Jr. and Trey Dier; and his siblings, Wallace Collins, L. C. Collins, Dolly Metts and Vida Mae Dantzler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Purcell Collins; his children, Jennifer Corbett (Kendell), Ashley Hallman, Garrett Dier (Maggie) and Bradley Dier (Shannon); his grandchildren, Kelly Kattan (Jeremy), Austin Adams, Kamaryn Corbett, Kayden Corbett, Kensley Corbett, Cameron Hayes, Trey Dier, Jackson Hankinson and Mayson Hankinson; and his siblings, David Collins (Henrietta), Harry Collins (Linda) and Vianna Snelgrove (Jerry).
