He was predeceased by: his parents, William Novotny and Anna Novotny; and his siblings, Bernadette Germain, Doris Ahern and William Novotny.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Novotny; his children, Lori Richards (Tom) and Philip Novotny (Lauren); his grandchildren, Daniel Davenport, Melissa Novotny, Philip Novotny and Jeremy Richards (Megan); his great grandchildren, Lane and Kyler Davenport; and his brother Fenton Novotny.
