He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurst McGuire and Addie McGuire; and his brothers, Gene, Jerry and Wendall McGuire.
He is survived by: his wife Margie D. McGuire; his children, Sandra Burkhart (Frank) and Gary R. McGuire (Marilyn) of Aiken; and his grandchildren, Nicole Reed Burkhart and Ethan Logan Burkhart.
