She is survived by: her husband Dahyabhai Patel; her mother Jadaben Patel; her sons, Hashmukh Patel of Graniteville, SC, Suresh Patel, Kenya, Africa and Ketan Patel; her grandchildren, Jigi, Radha, Kushal, Janki, Gaurang, Tamvi and Niki; and her siblings, Manubhai, Ramanbhi and Shardaben. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
