He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander Pruet and Ruth Anne Lamb Pruet; and his wife Janet Wilms Pruet. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth P. Bentley of Lincolnton, GA and Robert C. Pruet, Jr. of Trenton, SC; and his grandson Zachary Bentley of Lincolnton, GA..
