It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Pearson Herron of Aiken, South Carolina, born in Glen Cove, New York, who passed away on July 15, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn King Herron and Wilbur E. Herron. He is survived by: his stepmother Margaret Herron of Warrenville, SC; his siblings, Eli Herron (Amy), Elizabeth Brooks (Joe) of Augusta and Diane Vaughn of Tempe, AZ; and his stepsiblings, Beth Thompson (Wes) of Bath, SC, Michael McGowan (Patty) of Gafney, SC, Holley Swanson of Seneca, SC and Donna Whitaker.
