She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bertrum DeWitt and Verita Sandifer DeWitt; and her brother James Thurston "J. T.". She is survived by: her husband Donald Jackson; her children, Kimberly Jackson Reeves (Daniel), Donna Jackson (Keith Beltz) and Don Jackson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Dani Reeves, Drew Reeves and Presley Bennett; and her sister Joyce Pearson of Trenton, SC.
