He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Burkett and Christine Harmon; his son William "Will" Henry Burkett Jr.; and his siblings, Roy, Mitchell Burkett, Martha Ouzts and Sylvia Magee.
He is survived by: his wife Frances R. Burkett; his daughters, Michele Loftis (Todd) and Joslyn Morton (Jarad); his grandchildren, Grace Morton and Jackson Loftis; and his siblings, Sandra Burkett, Ray (Shelby), Mike (Sandra), John (Peggy) and Tony Burkett.
