He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenwood M. Wright and Geraldine Wright; and his daughter Sharon Wright. He is survived by: his sister Joyce Drawdy (Ron); and his children, Felicia Padgett (Robert), Tracy Medlin (Chris), Angel Irwin, Craig Wright, Waylin Wright and Whittni Hiscox (Mark).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pineview Baptist Church.
