It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy A. Ethridge Sr. of Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Sybil McAlister Ethridge; his parents, Charles A. Ethridge and Amy Elrod Ethridge; his daughter Karen E. Holliday; and his brother Charles Robert Ethridge.

He is survived by : his son Roy A. Ethridge, Jr. (Jane); and his grandsons, Matthew W. Holliday (Shayna), Timothy Mark Holliday (Rachel), Christopher Holliday (Daynah), Artie Ethridge (Mandy) and Evan Ethridge.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the North Anderson Baptist Church (2308 N Main St, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
