He was predeceased by: his parents, Delos "DW" Wheeler Floyd and Christine W. Benton Floyd; his son Roger Steven "Stevie" Floyd; his granddaughter April Floyd; his brothers, Delbert Floyd (Linda), Jerome Floyd and Ronnie Floyd; and his daughter-in-law Sheri Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Ann Tilton Floyd; his children, Jimmy Allen Floyd Jr., Valerie F. Miller (Ladon) and Daphne Mixon; his grandchildren, Christina "Chrissy" Cook, Sierra Floyd Woodard, Victor Steven Floyd (Bailey), April Denise Floyd, Kalli B. Holcombe (Ryan), Erric Kelly Bourne (Rilee) and Bryson Miller; his great grandchildren, Cody Walker (Jordan), Jackson Cook, Abbie Woodard, Bella McCants, Mady Floyd, Benton Floyd, Nash Floyd, Kendall Holcombe, Karlie Brian Holcombe, Pierce Poston and Trace Poston; his cousin Harold Watford (Dorothy "Tootie"); his sister-in-law Myra Floyd; and his pet Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Black River Free Will Baptist Church (5437 County Line Rd, Andrews, SC 29510). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
