We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 88, Georgette Carter (Bamberg, South Carolina), born in Uvalda, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Samuel Beck and Jimmie Lou Sellers Beck; her husband Clemons William Carter; her children, Sandra Carter Ward and Rhett Carter; and her sister Margaret Brant.

She is survived by : her sons, Wayne Carter (Andrea) of Bamberg and Kenny Carter (Susan) of Bamberg; and her brothers, Charles Beck (Yvonne) of St Matthews, SC, George Robert Beck (Patsy) of Lexington, SC and James Beck (Carol) of James Island, SC.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
