He was predeceased by: his parent Lamar Wayne Smith. He is survived by: his parent Janet Spivey Smith; his wife Nancy Pender Smith; his children, Nancy K. "Missy" Nolind of Barnwell, Nichole Lewis Ray (Danny) of Dillon, Chip Nolind (Missy) of Barnwell and Joseph Smith of Dillon; his grandchildren, Pender H. Nolind (Paul Watson), Will Nolind, Charlie Nolind, Raylin Lewis and Brylee Lewis; his siblings, Barbara Smith of Taylors, Johnny Smith of Dillon, Jerry Smith (Patricia) of Dillon and John Smith (Lori) of Dillon; Gary Hooper (Maxine) and Donnie Pender (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
