He was predeceased by: his brother Jonathan Kinard; his grandparents, Johnson Hill, Marcell Kinard of Snelling and Ruby Kinard of Snelling; and his great-grandparent Minnie Hallman of Barnwell.

He is survived by: his parents, Paul Kinard and Sheryl Kinard; his sister Jennifer Heltibridle (Bobby) of Snelling; his daughter Kaylin Kinard of Allendale; his grandmother Claire Carroll; and his nieces, Isabel of Barnwell, Shelby of Barnwell and Ashby Heltibridle of Barnwell.

In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Seven Pines Baptist Church.
