She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mitchell Edens, Sr. and Rosalie Rembert Edens; her husband Joe; her son Joseph Francis Christie, Jr.; and her brother James Mitchell Edens, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Roseanne Christie of Sumter and Lee Christie Stapleton (Tom) of Huntersville, NC; her sister Frances Ann McIntosh of Sumter; and her granddaughter Emmalee Grace Stapleton.
