Emmet Chavis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2020, at the age of 59, Emmet Chavis (Barnwell, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Joseph Chavis; and his siblings, Reba Moore, Ben Chavis, Oliver and Jerry Chavis.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Shawnette Cash (Bryan) of Leesville and Wayne Staples (Melody) of Hilda; and his siblings, Alice Faye Owens (Frank) of Blackville, Caroline Hutson (Bobby Gene) of Blackville, Betty Jo Anders of Anderson, Delma Sanders of Olar, Cheryl Williams of Barnwell, Frank Chavis (Patsy) of Blackville and David Chavis of Bamberg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
