He is survived by: his wife Delores Kinard Black; his children, Angie Black Edwards of Myrtle Beach, SC, Nancy Bodiford (Timmy) of Williston, Raymond Stevenson "Steve" Black and Jerry Hodge (Andrea) of Barnwell; his brothers, Clint Black (Donna) of Salley and Kenneth Black (Dot) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Stephanie Lott (Michael, Jr.), Justin Edwards, Conner Edwards, Matthew Bodiford, Racheal Bell (Chris), Kayla Hair (Jacob) and Emma Grace Hodge; and his great grandchildren, Michael Lott, III, Lauren Lott, Steven Lott, Ashley Lott, Anna Lott, Scarlett Edwards, Alexander Bell, William Bell, Catherine Bell and Turner Hair.
