He was predeceased by: his parents, Terie Richardson and Anna Layton Richardson; his siblings, Dorothy R. Scruggs, Edward Richardson and Layton Richardson; and his close friend Clara Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Lura Manning; his children, Lee Richardson, Jr. of Barnwell, SC, Rhett Richardson (Cheryl) of Barnwell, SC, Charles Richardson (Kim) of Barnwell, SC, LuAnne Renwick (George) of Lexington, SC and Trudy Frierson (Dwight) of Orangeburg, SC; his grandchildren, Anna Frierson House (Charles), Sarah Frierson, Boldt Richardson, Rebecca Richardson, Anna Kate Richardson and Bradley Richardson; and his brother Tommie R. Richardson (Roberta Hammonds) of Barnwell, SC.
