He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Benjamin Shaw and Alma Ruth Wooley; and his stepfather James Clinton Anderson. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Matthew (Jennifer) and Daniel Adam (Whitney); his fiancée Fran Long; his grandchildren, Bowen Robert, Conway Benjamin, Hadley Dene and Patrick Boone Shaw; and his siblings, Barbara Shaw Walters, Gail Shaw (Ricky Gulledge), Sammy Shaw (Jennifer) and Robert Greg Anderson. He is also survived by his five nieces, and many great nieces and nephews.
