We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2024, Dorothy Jean Holmes (Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina), born in Batesburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Gunter and Pearl Derrick Gunter; her husband William "Billy" A. Holmes; and her brother Timothy Gunter. She is survived by : her children, Thomas A. Holmes (Geniene) and Kim Holmes; her granddaughters, Sarah Holmes, Katy Holmes and Brandi Anderson; her great grandchildren, Hunter Holder, Kalie Holder and David Whitling; and her siblings, Linda Gunter and Bob Gunter. She is also survived by three great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Creek Baptist Church, 400 Church Road, Batesburg, SC 29006.
