He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Buss and Lillie Buss; and his siblings, Bonnie and David. He is survived by : his wife Lynda Buss (Paciocco); his sons, John Buss (Lauren) and Eric Buss; his grandchildren, Josephine and Jack; and his siblings, Fran Gengo (David), Charlene Stanford (John) and Duane Buss. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
