It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred F. Kay of Belton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rhett and Inez Campbell Kay; his granddaughter Allison Kay; and his siblings, Charles Kay, Sara Burgess and Barbara Cromer.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline "Polly" Murphy Kay; his sons, Steve Kay (Patti) of Anderson and Phil Kay (Carla) of Carlsbad, CA; his grandchildren, Patrick Kay, Kelly Kay and Bree Kay; his great grandchildren, Caleb Doucet and Kayden Doucet; and his sister Lucretia Snipes of Belton.
