Rozella Dean Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2020, at the age of 100, Rozella Dean (Belton, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Clinkscales and Etta Hardy Clinkscales; her husbands, Robert Aikens and Javan Dean; her sons, Harold and Charles Dean; her sisters, Inez Nance (David) and Maebell Clinkscales-Smith (Dick); her sister-in-law Bonnie Maxwell Clinkscales; her brothers, James Clinkscales (Nancy), Willie Clinkscales, Jr. (Barbara), Louie Clinkscales (Florence), Harold Clinkscales and Andrew Clinkscales (Sally); and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Crosby and T. J. Scott.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Hawthorne (Jimmy) of Anderson, SC, Mary Aikens of Anderson, SC and Ray Dean (Allene) of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Fannie Clinkscales of Anderson, SC, Sarah Clinkscales Crosby of Anderson, SC and Warren Clinkscales of Belton, SC; and her grandchildren, Patrice Hawthorne of Anderson, SC, Shujuan Hawthorne of Charlotte, NC, Tanya Gray (Darvin) of Anderson, SC and Deidrick Aikens (Ayana) of Anderson, SC. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Due to COVID-19, the family will not be participating in a repass.
