With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie Hamby of Belton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her mother Florence Christine McCoy Shackelford; her son Jeffrey Micah Hamby; and her brother-in-law James William "Billy" Capps. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kenneth Martin; her father James Melvin Shackelford; her children, Stacee Hamby Carver (Keith) of Belton and Robert Wayne Hamby of Piedmont; and her siblings, Karen Capps of Pelzer, Randy Shackelford (Rose) of West Pelzer, Mike Shackelford of Belton and Danny Shackelford (Julia) of Pelzer. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
