He is survived by: his parent Lena Mable Hancock Stanley; his wife Irma Windham Stanley of Bennettsville; his children, Johnette Renee of Lake City, Stanley Brown of Lake City and John David Stanley, Jr. (Courtney) of Lake City; his siblings, Janice Rhodes (Charles) of Lake City, Jean Lynch (Randolph) of Coward, Billy Stanley of Lake City and Harriet Dangerfield of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Alex Vincent Lee, Samantha Taylor Shady and Gracelyn Graham Stanley.
