It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Laura Overstreet McCants (Bishopville, South Carolina), born in Barnwell, South Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent James Overstreet; and her siblings, Ralph Overstreet, Alf Overstreet (Jenna Lee) and Vera Bramlett (Billy). She is survived by: her parent Zellie Croft Overstreet; her children, John T. McCants, Jr. (Gloria) of Bishopville, SC and Shirley McCants of Lugoff, SC; her brother Jimmy Overstreet (Kathy) of Tampa, FL; her sister-in-law Elmarie Overstreet of Sumter, SC; and her grandchildren, Julie H. Ozmore (Greg) of Camden, SC, Kim Holloman of Jacksonville, FL, Laurie Smith (Alan) of Walterboro, SC and Deborah McCants of Bishopville, SC. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to St. Andrew Church of God, 4238 Red Hill Road, Camden, SC 29020.
