She was predeceased by: her parents, Miledge Duncan Martin and Meridith Collins Martin; her husband Henry Phillip Gibson; her son-in-law Terrell Hayne "Terry" Dyches, Jr.; and her siblings, Betty Blume, Roy Martin and Frank Martin.
She is survived by: her daughter Phylis G. Dyches; her granddaughters, Rachel A. Dyches of Tampa, FL and Emily D. Wilson (Ticer) of Opelika, AL; her sister Elaine Whetstone (Billy); her sister-in-law Janie Bell; and her sibling's children, Steve Martin (Cynthia), Madonna Moore (Joe), Jayne Johnson (Jim), Ken Martin (Chris), Tracy Blume, Mark Whetstone (Maryann), Caroline Covington, Julie Phillips (Joey), David Bell (Anice), Terry Bell (Lela) and Elaine Platts (Eddie).
